Bar
Below we have images of the Live Edge wood tabletop/bar
Also are examples of how a similar bar is constructed in our home. It uses wood (2″x6″) to create a support wall, then the support brackets hold up a piece of 3/4″ plywood. This construction method creates a “sub” table that the granite sits on and only needs a light adhesive to secure it in place.

I am not sure if a block wall or a prefab structure would be best..?
Wood like we use at our current home would likely not be strong enough to handle the humidity and termite conditions. Please use your understanding of what would be best as this is only a suggestion.
